Norm Chow Massage Therapy

Norm Chow Massage Therapy offers therapeutic and relaxation massages in a home-based clinic located at 20 Teevens Drive in Barrhaven. The home clinic is approximately 1 kilometre from Walter Baker Centre and Barrhaven Public School.

Norm is also a certified NISA (Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment) therapist. NISA is an effective way to correct poor posture through a systematic manipulation of muscular and connective tissue in a series of 12 sessions.

About Me

Norm is a graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School in Toronto, Ontario, receiving his diploma in Massage Therapy in 2004.  After practising in the Manotick area for over 6 years, he began his home-based clinic and mobile massage therapy business.

He has furthered his studies in bodywork with graduate courses such as John Barnes myofascial release, neuromuscular integration and structural alignment (NISA), craniosacral therapy, and muscle energy.  His previous career as a clinical kinesiologist, certified personal trainer, and motor vehicle accident fitness evaluator along with his graduate courses helps to bring a holistic approach to treating and healing the body.

Norm believes in supporting the massage therapy community and helping people understand the importance of massage therapy as an integral part of a healthy holistic lifestyle.  Hence, he is a part-time clinical instructor at Algonquin College in their Massage Therapy program. He believes through sharing his years of knowledge and experience, he can help provide guidance to future Massage Therapists.
